A Chapter by Haley Lynn Thomas
"

You could really use a new one.

"

What did I ever do

To make you hate me so much?

I never wanted anything to do with you

But I still tried to play nice

I was just minding my own business

Trying to live in peace

When you came along and disrupted it

I didn’t deserve this

Maybe the truth is

That’s just who you are

It has nothing to do with me

You just needed someone to pick on

I never did anything to you

I never uttered a single word against you

I had no problems with you

But you had a problem with me

I just wanted to live in peace

Wasn’t there enough drama already?

Maybe you need some therapy

Maybe that’s just who you are

Author's Note

Haley Lynn Thomas
This poem is about people like me who are quiet and just try to blend in and live in harmony, but that person who wants to stir up drama and cause problems for no reason other than they're just mean spirited people.
