I got my wish.

Today

Is not yesterday

But I wish it was

Give me one more day

Then I swear I’ll turn away

Where you and I belong

Just give me one more memory

Of you the way you used to be

Let it be the last thing I remember of you

This poem is about the end of a relationship. It's about when someone you love changes but you remember who they used to be and you miss that person. It's about wishing that you could just hav one more day where they were the person they used to be.
