70. Even Stone Breaks

70. Even Stone Breaks

A Chapter by Haley Lynn Thomas
"

Davidson.

"

Tears, fears, emotions run high

When there's no time to say goodbye

Itall happened so fast

There's no time to think it through

People who once seemed so strong

Are breaking down into tears

And those who you swore had no emotions

Are seeking comfort in your arms

This is the time when you find out

What people are really made of

This is the time when the toughest breakdown

When words mean nothing now,

Together we'll get through this somehow…

Author's Note

Haley Lynn Thomas
During my junior and senior year of high school two students at my high school passed away suddenly. One of them was in my grade and one was a year younger. While I did not know either of these people personally, their loss was felt throughout the entire school.
