86. Magic

86. Magic

A Chapter by Haley Lynn Thomas
"

A poem I wrote for someone.

"

Your laughter sounds like music to my ears

You smile and it takes my breath away

All the words that I want to say to you are lost

When I look into your eyes and I realize

You make me feel beautiful everyday

When I’m with you I believe that I can fly

Every time that I see you I can’t help but smile

When I get this magical feeling inside of me

I’m wondering if you can feel the magic too

The magic that only happens when I’m with you

Do you know how I’m feeling about you?

Do you feel the same way too?

The magic is all around us, just open your eyes

I know that we are taking a leap of faith

I don’t know what our future holds

So just promise that you’ll catch me when I fall

Author's Note

Haley Lynn Thomas
This poem brings back painful memories of a former relationship. It's another VERY old poem. Probably five years old. I will never foget the person I wrote this one for; it was a special request. Unfortunately this person and I had a falling out and have not spoken in years. Honestly I have no interest in speaking to this person. I am only posting this poem because, for an older one, I thought it was good.
