90. All I Ever WantedA Chapter by Haley Lynn ThomasLike I knew when I was a kid.I never really asked all that much out of you All I ever wanted was a boyfriend who wanted me I saw you for the first time through the glass When your reflection caught my eye
You were everything that I’d dreamed of My daddy, he loved you Maybe even more than he loved me But we were both just blinded by your fake sincerity
You told everyone that I was crazy and clingy You said that you weren’t ready for this Now, maybe I could have taken it a little better But if you weren't ready then why did you go for it?
All I ever wanted was to hear you say “I’m sorry” But you pass me by everyday and you never say a thing And when I see you with that other girl I know That you’re not even close to being all I ever wanted © 2012 Haley Lynn ThomasAuthor's Note
