Why am I always so much braver when I'm writing?

Yesterday I sat Down and wrote out a list

Of all the things about you

That make me smile

And that I hope never change

I love how you'rE a child

Trapped in a grown maN's body

And I love how you

Still don't have life figured out

I ask you what you want to be

What are your biggest hopes and dreams?

And this is what you say to me

I haVen't gotten the slightest of clue

I love your big imagination

How you still think coloring is cool

How you never stay inside the lines

And how it makes mE smile

I love you for being you

It's the greatest gift you give to the woRld

And at the top of my list

Is how I love how you say

“I love you”
