Pass Me By

Pass Me By

A Poem by Haley Lynn Thomas

Pass me by walkIng down the Street

With A look that says everything

Thinking don't I know you from someWhere

I seem a famililar face to you

Yes, I knew you a long time ago

We met oh, fifteen yearS ago

Now imagine we both ended up Here

The sAme place at a diffrentTime

My how you look the same way

Like you haven't Changed in a day

And I can tell just by your face

You almoSt, come so Close, to saying "Hey, Haley"

My how I look the same way

Like I haven't Changed in a day

But that is where you are wrong

Try me and you just might be suprised
