MailboxA Poem by Haley Lynn Thomassee the note for reviewers
If you find this in your mailbox Then it's because you'll never see me again I've skipped town and won't return I just thought you might like to know
You don't have to worry about me anymore I won't bother you ever again You can go ahead and breathe a sigh of relief I promise you I'm long gone
If you find this in your mailbox Then it's because I can't stand to be anywhere near you One of us needed to leave and you were here first So I figured it was only fair that I would be the one to go
You no longer have anyone to fear I won't be there to tell you I love you anymore I won't torment you any longer with my broken heart You can move on with your life
But if you find this in your mailbox Then it's because I'm sorry I ever fell for you in the first place Yes, I'm sorry for actually giving a damn about you Yes, I'm sorry that I wanted to make you happy
Because if you find this in your mailbox Then I can guarantee you I'm never coming back You drove me away with your emotionless face I just thought you might care to know
But then again, you probably don't © 2012 Haley Lynn ThomasAuthor's Note
