20 little faces, 20 little lives

20 little babies who will never get the chance

To do all the things we take for granted every day

Suddenly all those songs about dying young

And never growing up seem pretty messed up

 

Because 40 eyes will never open again

And 40 hands will never hold their parent’s again

And 40 feet will never run again

And 20 minds have been silenced forever

And heaven has added 20 new angels to its choir
