Tell MeA Poem by Haley Lynn ThomasI wish I could read your mind To tell if you still care To tell if the man I knew and loved Is still in there somewhere
Tell me can you hear me? Is your heart listening? Please don’t tune me out again I have so much I need to say
I want to break apart your shell Reach down into your personal hell And pull your soul out And try and piece it back together
Tell me are you willing To give this love of ours another shot Maybe it doesn’t have to end Maybe it doesn’t have to be this way
Tell me is there something left to save I know you’re about to cave again But can you hold on a little longer? Just until I can get there
I’m running as fast as I can Baby, I’m doing all I can Tell me do you want my embrace? Or will you just turn away
I wish you could read my mind This is the kind of love that binds I can’t walk away from you Because I still believe in you Tell me can you hear me? I'll love you eternally Tell me if you still care If you do then I swear I'll find you I'll never give up this search I know you're still in there somewhere Baby, just hold on a little longer Just until I can get to you © 2014 Haley Lynn ThomasReviews
