Dream CycleA Poem by New Dawn
I dreamed that I awoke. but it was merely a slight of my imagination, a trickery that allowed me to continue unhindered through the hallways of my mind. So many doors and each of them white. I didn't choose, there was nothing to distinguish one from another, the good from the inevitable bad. Instead I approached the window and drew back the curtains seeking light but I found only another set of curtains and another and another until my arms grew tired and in a crescendo of panic.. I dreamed that I awoke trembling in the cold night air and in need of comfort I left my bed to wander aimlessly through the corridors of my mind. © 2012 New DawnReviews
