Four SeasonsA Poem by New Dawnjust a light look at the british weather
Its the warmest day this year they say and like fools we rush out to parade milk bottle legs before a visiting sun, pack away our winter clothes as if it might be planning to stick around. We heed warnings about hayfever and don hats to prevent sunstroke, so confident are we in the rise of mercury today.
The warm spell is over they say, and acknowledging our foolishness we reapply the warmer clothes, as the skies gather cloud, Looks like rain they say better grab the brollies. © 2012 New Dawn |
