Fallen StarsA Poem by kelvinShooting stars have no refuge, for they’re simply cast outs from the crisp clear nightly sky. These once were proud and illusively bright stars that twinkled beautifully in the mist of the big milky way. Like the Morse code these stars flicker lighted signals speaking down to us in their own special way. I found that nightly rains are the tears of depressed stars within the sky that cry as their bright light that once burned so brightly goes dim before they fall from the sky. A star that is ridiculed by its own kind will sometimes lose its fight to live like some of we humans tend to. As a star falls to earth and disintegrates it has one last wish to give. So wish upon a star
