This I wrote last night on 7/17/15 and it is for my sergeant who recently killed himself

I feel you,

But I can't see you...

I hear you, but...

Where are you?!

Are you really here?

Where?

I know you're here,

But why?

Why can't I see you?

An echo in the dark..

But just a thought?

I thought I could...

Be without you, but

I can't.

I know you're gone, but

You're still here...

I can hear your voice, but

Where is your face

Your embrace...

It's here, but where?

I need you sergeant,

but you're gone...

A shadow following me,

But why?!?!

Why do you follow me? To keep me safe?

Wish I could reach out...

And just grab your hand,

But I can't...

Where are you now?

Or even when I need you?

You're nowhere to be found, but

I can hear you...

Why do you make it so easy to feel

or hear you?

But not so easy to see you?

I need to know, where are you sergeant?
