I know I’m not perfect

Believe me, I’m aware.

But you don’t need to point it out

Every time I’m near.

 

I know I have flaws,

But I’m not the only one.

I’m not going to hid them,

Because everybody has some.

 

No, I don’t where much makeup.

I’d rather not be fake.

I don’t want to be like one of those girls,

Who need to remove their makeup with a rake.

 

I know you think I’m ugly.

Sometimes I do too.

But deep down I know I’m pretty.

Everybody is; no matter who.

This has a great message that you should be very proud of. Sometimes it impresses me how much makeup some girls wear. It's like they dumped a bucket of gunk all over their faces. They look like baby dolls. Which brings me to my one "mistake" I noticed. You said that you don't where to much make up but the correct term is wear. Not where (as in where are you) but wear (as in you wear clothes). The two are often confused. I think you should spread the word. Only geniuses don't care about the unnatural and more about what really exists. You shouldn't think you are ugly, you have a beautiful poetic air, a personality and appearance to match. Believe in yourself. Trust me, I know it's hard. But you have to. Nicely and poetically penned my friend!
