Trying to mend these broken pieces

Is only hurting me

So I'm done

I'm not hurting myself any longer

I thought it'd be worth the pain

But it's not

And you're not

And my heart can't bear any more.

Oh, how many times must girls go through the same disaster, how many times must they tell themselves this about every one of them before they stop letting themselves ever even break at all?
