Note 5 penned on a night in January, 2014: maybe if you decideA Poem by Marie Anzalonefor M maybe let's try this: just decide- do you, or can you love me, even a little? because I have enjoyed caressing parts of your exterior with some of my interior. and I would like to keep peeling back the layers of knowing you, brushing the dust off this diamond I found quietly placed in my hand. I would be lying to say, it does not matter to me one way or the other; the words just have never been mine to speak aloud, so I hold them close. but I think that if you decide- all the rest will just kind of sort itself- did you know that on Neptune it rains diamonds in the atmosphere? kind of just like that, my fear of words too might wash away. © 2014 Marie AnzaloneAuthor's Note
