A Small Offering

A Small Offering

A Poem by Marie Anzalone

Darling- I know

    you're feeling rushed,

put-upon,

         unappreciated,

     harried,

          stressed,

                and overwhelmed.

I have not much to offer

    right now,

      but maybe this one

  small offering:

        How about

   I make dinner for us

                 the rest of the week?
