A Lonely Man

what lonely people go through........

A lonely man wakes up from his slumber,

hoping his romance with solitariness is put asunder,

who shall he turn to when times are hard ?

when his emotions are unsettled like a tide,

How much longer can he keep dwelling in nothingness ?

Oh he wishes there's an end to this companionlessness, 

The thought of a partner seems so mythical,

As disappointments have made him quite cynical,

This is what he has become, a recluse, 

Leading a life of isolation, one which is obtuse.........

Like it, would like to hear more about this man, why he has become how he is, makes people able to connect with the character more. Although leaving it open ended does leave a sense of ambiguity and abstraction. write a few more lines like another stanza and it will be great :)
