Something OldA Poem by HollywoodButterfly with cut off wings, My tounge tied in a knot, can't get out what I want to say.
Only thought playing though my head is what I'll write down.
I'm waiting to get untied & the secrets to be believed. Waiting for someone, wanting someone, but I don't know their name.
I'll stumble through the thorn bushes trying to find the right rose. Hopefully I'll find them but the world will never know.
I'll scratch out my bad grammar with this cheap black pen. Please excuse me, I know I'm worthless. I can't fix everything I regret. I guess I'll live it up, shake it off & forget.
I'll crumple up this paper written with all my mistakes. I won't look back, no what if's today. I'll live my life for me & me alone. I have no god or goals.
Don't judge me because we all know you barely know my name. I guess we'll go our seperate ways.
Take away the evolution charts & blind yourself with faith. We'll find out one day, when death is knocking at your door, calling out your name.
With honor I'll accept this pain knowing I put up a fight, living my own life. I'll cuss at your name when said.
Place a zipper over my eyelids so I can't see. Don't forget the needle & thread to sew up my lips & nose, I can't breathe. Don't worry just another nobody killed but the world won't stop, it wont' yeild.
I'll forget everything like a dream unsaid, a whisper just ignored. Kiss me softly, I'll be wanting more. © 2010 HollywoodAuthor's Note
