Poem 17. CHANGE

Change is an ally of Progress

When I was born I cried but you laughed

After a year I walked then you clapped

When I was a student I cried for the lack

But then shouted with joy when I pressed on the rock

Changes had brought me into a step-up.

Dhaye this is an excellent write, what is the format of this Limerick?

This was the one I told before when I read your Sacred Bath. A Limerick poem has the AABBA rhyming. The 1st, 2nd and 5th lines sound the same, while the 3rd and 4th lines have their same sounds also. In this piece, it's not too obvious (the rhyme) but it did follow AABBA sounds.
