Poem 25. THANK YOU

I've deleted this piece because it reminds me of my absurdity in my past. But truly when you made a poem for someone his/her name is already included in it. Acceptance is a part of healing.

I was once lost but you guided me…

       To walk into the right path

       To understand the complexity of life

       To determine what’s wrong from right.

 

I was once a weak one but you strengthened me…

       To fight against my own fears

       To be fair to myself and others

       To love without expecting too much in

         in return.

              

I was once a searching spirit…

          But then you enlightened my mind

          And made me realize what’s not to find.

          You made me change.

 

Thank you…

          For the guidance when I was lost.

          For the strength when I was weak.

          For the realization when I was a

          searching soul.

 

Thank you…

          For I am now a new being.

          Far from that yesterday’s lost soul

          Different from the weak one you knew

before

And better than that one who always 

search for an answer to a question.

 

Thank you...

words that I won't forget forever.
