Poem 7. LET IT RAIN

wash my soul

Let it rain…

Let it shower me today

Heal the wounds of  my past

And make me strong again.

 

Let it rain…

Let those drops sing

A melody I haven’t heard

Of hope that I never claimed.

 

Let it rain…

Cover my tears of gloom

Wash my heart and soul

Until the ache is purely drowned.

 

Let it rain…

If after the rain comes color

Of that rainbow of hopes I adore

Come, let it rain and make me whole...

Again.
