Laughing Lover

Laughing Lover

A Poem by heido

With your lips locked

Your thighs firm

Your feet grounded I took leave

    Break trust

    Build walls

    Bend morality

Come now lover tell me who you are

A ghost, a phantom, a despot, a totalitarianist of the heart

Of course love I must not speak as such

Remember to be prudent, to be kind

Leave not scars on insecurities that rest upon unimaginable jealousy

Funny though it I have never seen your face

What pray tell shall I build my trust upon?

Of course I am what you say

Wanton lover, displaying to the peacocks my lovely forms

So that of course you may dream of such things

Remember that I put all else before you

                 A five, six, seven, eight!

Beyond the drum roll

Beyond the intro

Beyond the crescendo, the verse, the chorus and the bridge

I am what now?

Ahhhh of course, unowned

Unshaked

Unshodden

Not to be ridden to unrecognition

Follow my forms love, my words

To the accusation of men

Who now?

Angels, musiciains, randoms and office buddies

Words hurt don't they love

I STILL HAVE NEVER:

Met a man who could keep a promise or a lover who could hold his tongue.
