Drifting meA Poem by SharonA poem about a lonely soul.I’m a wanderer on the noisy streets No one would even notice I drift
I have feets but I am always free to roam
To roam the street that pities me
Carefully I shake off the embrace of empathy
I am one with no one with; no friends nor family
Yet I enjoy the company of the unseen wind
I like to be freely drifting
The hug of nature gives more than others
Not a bit of untruth in the love it gives
I’m used to the different faces going around me
Yet I do not put my trust at stake with you people
I’m a drifting soul on the noisy streets
No one would bother to take a second glance at me
I have my loneliness to drown my sorrows
Just leave me
Leave me drifting
