Lover's LeapA Poem by CrowleyKeeping love alive is important...keep strumming. When I put you to bed, lamb It wasn't right not to kiss you on the cheek
Hot breath in my ear, id humming Like the strings on an upright bass
Fingers brush lightly across my abdomen and enchant, mint As flesh accepts not so casual butterflies
Your whispers unequivocal, quivering vocals Make my thoughts bathe in possibilities
Dressed in the finest fur, venting passing fears Wrapping you for warmth and an end to isolation
Lapping at your shores, undying devocean Soup for two in the backseat at Lover's Leap © 2019 CrowleyReviews
