Sonnet One

I finally wrote Aj his poem. :]

 My love for you rivals the love you have for me.
I know you'll deny this the moment you read it.
You'll shout, "No, never!" But hear me out. You see,
As far as we've come - I can hardly believe it -
From simply chatting online to where we are now.
I can defiitely see God's hand working here.
Hotdoggin', YD, City Beach... just how
Could any grow so close so fast, it's weird!
You're so amazing, though, so open and honest.
You'd protect me from anything - even from you.
No one could not love you. If hell came upon us,
I'd gladly die just so you could get through.
I love you, Aj, probably more than you know.
You're one of those people I'll never let go.

Author's Note

it's my first sonnet (obviously), so I might not have worked it the way it's supposed to go. and yes, the syllables are a tad bit off. anyway, what do you think? any suggestions?
