Cold and Grey

Cold and Grey

A Poem by A.A.Romanczuk

As the lights all went out
And left the streets cold and grey
I sat on the cold, grey doorstep
Staring at the cold, grey sky
Thinking that maybe if I think hard enough
You'll be sitting right next to me
And I won't have to weep
But the wind just strummed a sad song
On my aching heart strings
Those tears wouldn't stop falling
For the one I miss

you could never play in real life..
i had that idea once ..if you sit tight and really think hard
then you will get what you want..but you only got a strong wind hitting at your face
telling you about real life..when dreams are possible and when they cease to be of help
always loved the thoughts ,and the way you tell them
lovely write..
