Endless Reality

Endless Reality

A Poem by H.L. Cerveise

Endless Reality

When should truth be spoken?

At whose convenience may it be overlooked?

Does not the truth build faith?

Does it not tear down the black veil of darkness?

It thereby spreads light to the dusty corners of the universe.

On the other hand, must truth be silenced?

Should it then be overlooked by the whims of the powerful?

Does truth erode at the shaky foundations of faith?

Must the light of truth be obscured by the fog of ignorance?

Never reaching nor disturbing the rodent invested corners of the cosmos.

Damned be those who kill the roots of truth.

Its value far outweighs any concern of man or beast.

The foundations of all, rest firmly on truth.

Truth shatters the distorted reflection of vile conceptions!

It speeds a disturbing yet gentle wind throughout this endless reality.
