Escape the Do Loop?

Generate true random variable

Do while variable does not = 0.

I escape to the science-fiction world,

I read books, watch movies and television.

I now do it also through an online world.

Escape,

Escape again,

Escape yet again.

When immersed online the real world dissolves.

I see others doing the same.

It is a drug.

One that is good for me.

One that is bad for me.

One that does connect me.

One that does isolate me.

That makes me smile.

That makes me sad.

It makes me feel alive again.

It kills off a part of me.

When thrust back into the real world the online world fades.

Slowly burned images weaken but do not go away entirely.

Sounds heard, vibrate lower and softer but still can be sensed.

Feelings disconnect become gray but still glitter with color.

It is a drug.

One that is bad for me.

One that is good for me.

It is one that isolates me.

Nevertheless, it is one that still connects me.

That makes me sad.

That makes me smile.

It kills off a part of me.

It makes me feel alive again.

Set the variable = variable - 1.

If the variable is > 0 go to 10.

If the variable is < 0 then go to Error

If the variable is = 0, then go to End.

Note: Now Legion must interject something here, Seeker knows this is not correct program do while loop code and it contains syntax errors but life does do not always follow good or correct syntax and therefore felt it was not needed in this poem either.
