Realistic Dreamer

I entered the dark forest with my telescope and bow

I stood and watched for eons

As the distant jewels of space winked

I drew my bow and shot for the stars

It's very beautiful. The winking part kind of makes it sound like space is saying "shoot..if you dare". lol Also, a dark forest could easily represent jealousy, because of green leaves and the darkness one might have from a feeling of jealousy. And the stars could represent the person they're seeking to shoot down (not literally speaking). I know that's not what you meant by this poem, but that's a possible meaning.
