Little ones

Just another poem for my three little heroes.

I'm so glad I get to see you

I missed you so very much

you three have  grown a lot

I wish I could have been there

just to sit and watch.

Your excited smiles bring me

joy every time I come home

the happiness you give me

I wish you could only know.

'Cause sometimes I am depressed

especially the times I'm gone

the love I feel for you three

I wish I could better show.

I have a few months with you

and I know they will be quick,

but at least I'm here for sometime

because when I have to leave

I know my smile will dip.

Don't let that discourage you

my little ones,

I'll always be with you

in spirit.
