Who's There For Me?

Who's There For Me?

A Poem by lilgurli6214
"

Again an old one, this time to some "friends."

"

When you get in a fight

With your step-mom or your dad.

When you think you can't take the stress

Of believing that someone else

Is disappointed in you.

Who's always there to talk to?

Me.

When you have a tough decision:

Do you date somebody or

Do you stay friends forever.

Who talks to you about it

And gives you advice

(Or at least tries to)?

Me.

When you want to talk about a girl

Who everybody else is annoyed with hearing about.

Who is there to listen,

Even if it may hurt?

Me.

When you feel down,

Feel bad about your looks,

Or the way you think you act.

When you're worried

And need to talk about

Whether or not you have feelings for your ex.

Who listens and makes you tell yourself the truth?

Me.

If you're one of my four best friends

Described in the above lines,

I have one question.

Friends are always supposed to be there for each other.

Why was nobody there for me?

I'm Nicole, but my friends call me Cori. I love to write (hence the writers cafe account). The poems I am putting up as of right now are old, so they're not good by any stretch of the imagination. .. more..
