How Could it Happen

How could this happening on such

A beautiful September morn?

How could someone do this to

A beautiful city?

How could a terrible thing happen

to innocent people?

 

Why did these monsters

attack mercilessly?

Why did these monsters

chose us for their eveil act?

Why did these monsters

do what they did?

 

Where is the pride we showed

after that day?

Where is the flags we hung

everywhere we went

Where is the support we showed

for our troops?

 

September 11th was such a herrible

day so many innocent lives lost

Why does it take such a tragity

for us to show our pride

For this great nation.

 

Remember as you go out

to work or for errands

Remember the men and women

Who have died for you

to be free

 

It should not take our nation

being attacked

For us to show our pride

For  the Red White

and Blue
