DRIFTWOOD DREAMS

 

Cradled within my sorrow

I drift like a leaf on the breeze

Never seeing beyond tomorrow

Lost in a world of dreams

 

Waiting for my dreams to show

I feel like driftwood on the tide

Tomorrow seems too far to go

Without you by my side

 

In my driftwood dreams

Stream the sands of time

as the years pass by

In my driftwood dreams

There's a lonely rhyme

where love's ashes lie.
