The world will feel far too big once you’re gone

Dancing on the wind, laughing in the air
And every morning there will be two seconds
Where we can forget that you’re really not here
And when reality hits us, we’ll listen for your whisper
And you’ll tell us that it’s better where you are
And that you can run and you can dance and sing
And before you leave and we go on with our day
You’ll tell us you love us and that you’re really okay
And you’ll sing us a promise as we get on our feet
“I’ve saved you a spot on a cloud, next to me”
