FOR MY MUM

As it is Mothers Day here in Britain tomorrow, I thought I would attempt one for my mum.

FOR MY MUM

There's some things I want to say

on this rather special day.

words that are more necessary than

'Happy Mothers Day.'

We are all born to a mother -

(some luckier than others)

but I believe I was the luckiest by

being given the chance to say to you;

I hope you have an amazing day,

you deserve it for all you do.

You made me who I'am.

(some will thank you; others not)

but you guide me the right way,

and I'm giving it my best shot.

You have loved and cared,

worked your fingers to the bone; doing

all you could to give

us a nice home.

Not all do this. Some give in.

Can't deal with the hardships so

chuck it all in. But you did not,

you struggled on through. A determination

to achieve, which I believe has

bled through. And for this,

worlds best mother

I love and thank you.

A simple little poem as it is Mothers Day here tomorrow. needs a bit of work but you get the gist..I hope :)

I think it's perfect just the way it is couldn't have said it better myself just the other day my mom told me she was lucky to have me I think it would be the other way around😅 Loved the poem by the way couldn't have put it better myself
