FOREVER MEMORY

A forever memory,

etched into heart and brain.

A permanent reminder that

things will never be the same.

we lived for the moment;

we knew it could never last,

we lived a lifetime in those

few months, like every breath

was our last.

I reluctantly accept that part

of life is said and done;

now's the time to look forward,

gain a brand new set of eyes!

Discovor what the future holds

for this new phase of my life.

Really like what you are expressing but it seems a bit higgledee piggledee to me. Seems that you are undecided on whether or not to rhyme and the different length stanzas throw me a wee bit.....sorry !!

Your correct gee, no need to apologise when ur right. I wanted to do something but had a totally blank mind an this was the best i could come up with so i chucked it up so wouldnt lose it with the intention of working on it at some point if i can. I value honest reviews the most..they are the ones we all need, not butt kissing, i totally appreciate u being honest, it will help me improve it so thank u 😊

My pleasure, haven't read you in a while so will have a butcher's at some others in the near future......have to say I post sometimes so as not to lose, as everything I write comes straight from the head to device with very little editing.
