A simple time so long ago

not a care in the world

long summer days

hours spent with friends

lost in magical worlds

where destiny was always

left open to interpetation

long before our hearts

as well as our minds

became jaded

smiles came easy

the worst thing...

being called in for the night

those days eventually fade

we grow to become adults

and thats when

the craziness of everyday life

makes us long for

the simplicity of childhood.
