My heart is a bottomless pit

The games you play 

Still confuse me to this day

As I try to fill the abyss that is my heart

With emotions both good and bad

I am still missing a part

From the first day I saw you

Your image of beauty floated inside of me

And still to this day I wonder what could have been

Between you and me

Please lord let her see

She has and always will be

A part of me
