Am I dreaming

This is about being lost inside and wanting people to help but not one person truly understands but me and that is hard,so I am waiting for something new to come in and wash my pain away.

As my words hit the ground
Questioning my existence in this world
Has become a everyday thing
And I just do not know why

It hurts so much
I just cannot seem to let this go
Why does it haunt me so

If I told you the things inside
The things that make me who I am
Would you understand
Or would my words remain
Like the dead in the sea

Seeing faces there and here
How could I make this so fair
When life itself is always there

You may not understand these words
But it is my mind you see
Left complicated in every way
And now I sit here dry
Waiting for new waters
To fill me up with all it has
