Alone in the dark,

Unable to see light.

Consumed by depression,

Unable to find good.

A shattered heart,

Unable to feel.

 

Alone in the shadows,

Not seen by anyone.

Swallowed in darkness,

Unable to find light.

Stone for a heart,

To protect my sanity.

We always have that solitariness and when we feel it it's either we want to be alone or we are left behind by everyone. Your poem spoke for both. Well done!
