I'm not quite sure,
how to put this.
I care about you
a little more than I should.

We started out amazing friends,
the longer we stayed that way,
the closer we got,
the harder I fell.

Like the songs say,
"i was fine before you walked into my life,"
we have grown apart,
much farther than before.

I know you don't care,
that I'm out of your life,
anyways you have her,
and I have nothing.

One thing is for certain,
you may be gone now,
but just a bit ago,
I did have you

Well, zaneybear....I know how you feel. How many of us have been through what you describe so well here. I hope it isn't a true story, but if it is, take comfort in the knowledge that this happens to all of us and helps to build a stronger you. I think the way you expressed the emotion, was accurate and simply put. It gets the message across. Well done.
