Singing in the Snow

Singing in the Snow

A Poem by BlueShadow

Singing in the Snow

Snowflakes falling all around

My ears are cold and a bit frostbitten

My mittens feel snug on my hands

Because outside it is frigid cold

But without care

I start singing

And everyone stops to watch

A random boy singing in the snow

What in the world is he doing?
He opens his mouth and snow falls in

But he doesn’t care

Melodies spring from his jaws

And everyone sings along

But no one minds the frosty atmosphere

Of this cold winter night

In a small county town

We are all singing

And no one minds

What lunatics we must be

But what fun it truly is

The moonlight shines down

And our voices echo in the sky

We sing and sing and dance

The boy who started to sing

I guess here you show how infectious good vibes such as dancing and singing can be. It highlights the positive response we receive from others when our aura in feel-good spirits projects a positive demeanour.

Well done
