Water

Water

Found in every spring, lake, and sea

We keep it in captivity

It’s ours to keep and ours to drink

Without it, we’d literally be a dream

Without it, we’d be nothing but mush

Just walking, talking, sleeping flesh

We need it to live and to see

With it, we can breathe

Water is important because it’s necessary

For our lives and the lives of other living beings

Water is important because we cherish its practicality

When people drink water they can sing
