NighttimeA Story by BlueShadowNighttime The night represents to me darkness, uncertainty, confusion, and sadness. The reason why the night represents these things to me is because the night is dark, lit only by the stars and the moon, and we can’t see well during the night. The night represents evil in a way since it is the opposite of daytime, which to me symbolizes hope and happiness. The night is a time where we usually are in our homes, sleeping or almost ready to doze off. The night is very scary for some since there is no sunlight and only light from the moon. When going outside during the night, you should remember that the night symbolizes sadness and despair and is the time of many crimes, some of which are not told to the police. The night is a time to remember that many good things eventually come to an end. The daytime represents hope, optimism, happiness, and beauty since the sun shines the blue sky and illuminates the dark world. The daytime is a fun and interesting time to be in. The daytime is a wonderful time to be in because you get to experience the warmth and the comfort of the sun’s free energy. The daytime is a time where we get to feel happy about ourselves and about life in general. The daytime is so beautiful, with the picturesque blue sky and the bright, green grass as if it were a picture by itself. I like the daytime because I feel happy and energetic, yet also protected. I like the daytime because it is very beautiful, and mathematically half of the day. The transition from darkness to light and light to darkness can be one that elicits much emotion from a person. When we experience the gradual rise and set of the sun, we feel ourselves feeling sadder or happier, but also amazed at how one star can cause such a difference in our world. I feel so happy when the sun is rising, not only is it aesthetically moving but also meaningful, since it marks the beginning of the new day. The sunrise and sunset are emotionally very touching since they symbolically represent the beginning of a new phase of the day. Sunlight represents hope to me, while the night represents darkness. I like the daytime more since it is more obviously beautiful and safer to be in. I hope in this essay I was able to explain what the day and night represents to me. Both are integral to being human since the daytime is beautiful in our human way while the nighttime is scary since we can’t see anything during the night. Let us remember that the daytime and nighttime are each half of the whole day, and that without either, it would be difficult to appreciate the beauty and necessity of the other. I personally am grateful that there is nighttime and daytime since without one, how could we really enjoy the other. Beauty is like diversity. © 2021 BlueShadow |
