Manny Skayton Gets A Beagle

        Growing up, Manny had always wanted a pet. He wanted a Labrador Retriever because he found them to be cute, intelligent, loyal, and loving animals who would do anything for their owners as long as their owners were of reasonable temperament. He wanted a Labrador Retriever because of their kindness, loyalty, and strength. Manny loved dogs because of their beautiful hearts and warm personalities. Manny always thought Labrador Retrievers were adorable and was mesmerized by their intelligence and kindness. Manny always wanted a Labrador Retriever because of how interesting and wonderful they were. It was just a matter of when, not if he’d get one. It was going to be a while for him to get his pet, but he knew someday somehow he would get a dog. He wanted someone to talk to and be with. He disliked being an only child. 

       It was now February 20th, and it was time for Manny to celebrate his birthday. The weather was pleasant and the temperature was perfect, so it was a great day to celebrate. This year’s February was chilly, but not too bad. It was going to be a wonderful, exciting, fun, and amazing year. Manny got out of the house and went to the living room’s patio where he saw his birthday present. It was a small beagle, with droopy ears and a sweet temperament. Manny was so excited to finally have a pet and at eighteen he thought it was about time to have one. Manny wondered how in the world his parents knew he wanted a dog when he never shared his personal desires with anyone, but it was now time for Manny to celebrate. He pet the panting, cheerful beagle and named it Gary. He was so proud to have such a loving, understanding companion and he was so honored to be the owner of such a precious pet. Manny got Gary in his arms and walked back into the house where he pet Gary again. Gary simply panted and panted and was hungry for some treats. Manny fed him some kibble treats and looked at how adorable, amazing, and awesome his new pet really was. Manny was so happy.
