October

October

A Poem by BlueShadow

October

Orange and black

The pumpkin’s here

Scents of autumn

Spices and herbs

We look outside

Seeing the leaves

Brown and green

They fall down

Covering the ground

Stomping the foliage

Pumpkin pie’s here

A day’s finished

Cozily and happily

We sleep soundly

In our beds

Thinking about October
