Manny Skayton Learns TennisA Story by BlueShadowManny Skayton lived in an apartment complex on Purple Road named “River Pine Apartments”. It was a rather large apartment complex with two hundred units, and was located in a convenient place in Reading. Each unit in the apartment complex could hold 6 people, and each unit had the basics of life. River Pine had a tennis court, swimming pool, and fitness gym for those who wanted to work out. River Pine was exceptionally beautiful and Manny absolutely loved living there. He thought he was blessed and fortunate. Manny Skayton decided it was time to learn a new hobby, so he began buying a tennis racket, tennis balls, and tennis shoes, to begin. His tennis obsession started a month ago when he began watching online videos of tennis superstars competing. Tennis was always Manny’s favorite sport, so to learn it himself made him so excited. He couldn’t wait to begin. He went to the court in the middle of the apartment complex and started practicing with his friend, James Rockton, and practiced until his arms, legs, and hands couldn’t take it any longer. He continued practicing with James until he became in his opinion a “fabulous amateur”. Once he thought he reached this level, he stopped practicing and stopped the routine of playing tennis with James. Manny was so honored to play, practice, and perform on the tennis field. He was beyond happy. River Pine was a beautiful, wonderful, and comfortable place to live and offered fantastic “bonuses” in terms of the things you could do there. Manny loved everything about tennis whether it be the yellow tennis balls, the racket and its power, and the physical agility needed to play tennis well. Manny was proud to be a great amateur at tennis and may come back to the sport later on. He was so excited to play tennis well. River Pine was also great to live in. © 2021 BlueShadow |
