The sun was shining brightly and she felt its heat pour onto her like water spilling onto paper. It was July, after all, and the temperatures were expected to be above ninety degrees this year. Her dog walked with energy and Madison struggled to keep up. Madison and her dog were walking to Eastmont’s expansive city square, located right in the middle. Madison Syrah felt so good that she could walk for miles on end. She and her dog walked for a long time until they finally reached the town square. They had passed by hundreds of beautiful and intimately decorated homes in the process. They were tired but alive. It was a very long and tiring walk. Madison Syrah and her dog stared at the large fountain in the middle of the square, and were stunned by its crystal clear blue water, and size. It was huge and looked like it needed a lot of water to maintain. Madison was intrigued by the fountain’s shape, too. It was pentagonal, with a gargoyle at each point. Madison and her dog were in awe of the fountain’s beauty and sophistication. Madison and her dog observed the fountain for a few minutes, then left to return back to their home in Hillford. They walked and walked for miles on end until they reached Hillford, where they saw their home, a blue and white bungalow. They entered the front door and saw the kitchen, dining room, and living room, with everything in place. Madison’s dog went to the living room and sat on the couch, tired. It then slept. Madison also went onto the couch and felt very sleepy, but knew she had to go to work tomorrow, so it was best not to mess up her sleep schedule. Madison fell asleep nevertheless and waited for tomorrow. © 2021 BlueShadow |
